March 2020 - Present

Community Insights on Perinatal Health was a joint effort between the Health Coalition of Passaic County and the SJH Center for Innovation to understand the community needs when it comes to perinatal health and pregnancy care. Alongside this body of research, SJH OBGYN’s department and leaders went through Unconscious Bias Training, funded by the Turrell Fund, as well as increased funding for CenteringPregnancy, funded by the Taub Foundation.

After the Insights Report, the Center for Innovation brought together the perinatal health ecosystem to participate in a series of co-design workshops, centered around the voice of moms to co-create solutions based on their needs.
